Tuomi's got, uh, fae padding on his toes, and the piers are well walked. so we can hope he doesn't get splinters on top of everything. THAT would be a bummer.

Oh no! Maybe Tuomi is actually getting in trouble this time.

I need to do my yearly thing and remind you of this song. 8) Because it's dark and cold and only skeletons bring me joy.

@Pedes: Wellllll at least it was the kind of trouble where you might not get immediately punched in the face, but instead suffered through years of mentally taxing mindgames and frustration? At least we had that.

RE: the hovertext, you know, I have kind of wondered about this particular element of his clothing. Since the ribbons (?) appear to just be tied around and not to actually be sandals... are they, like, to hold the bottom of his trousers in place around his ankles?

@Arethinn: They are modeled after some illustrations in a book about ancient Assyrian clothing, but honestly I think even though they looked soleless they probably had soles and the original Assyrian illustrator just didn't deem it necessary to indicate they were there. I thought it would be extremely impractical though if they didn't have any, and thus the kind of footwear good for Court!Tuomi. :D The tight bottoms of the trousers are just part of the trousers.
(Sometimes Tuomi likes to have soles, but these are politically hard times and he must stay fabulous.)

@Cesario: Well, if getting shot and nearly dying isn't "getting in trouble" enough, then I don't know what is. ;P
